Dispensing Solutions for the Plastics & Composites Industry
In the plastics and composites industry, precise mixing ratios, uniform material application and reproducible processes are particularly important. Resins, adhesives, sealants and coatings must be dispensed accurately to ensure that components can be reliably bonded, reinforced, sealed or protected.
Precise dispensing technology supports clean processing, controlled material quantities and stable results in the production of plastic parts, fiber-reinforced composite components and technical components.
- Dispensing resin and hardener for fiberglass and carbon fiber components
- Applying gelcoat to molds before the laminating process
- Bonding CFRP and GFRP components with structural adhesives
- Dispensing adhesive onto plastic housings, covers and technical molded parts
- Impregnating fiberglass fabric, carbon fiber fabric and fiber preforms with resin systems
- Potting threaded inserts, bushings and inserts in plastic components
- Dispensing PU foams and potting compounds into cavities and mold areas
- Applying release agents to molds, tools and mold inserts
- Applying protective coatings to plastic surfaces and composite components
- Controlled mixing and dispensing of two-component resins, adhesives and sealants
For the precise bonding of 3D-printed components made from plastic or composite materials, the IG-1500D dispensing controller offers a flexible solution. Adhesives can be dispensed from cartridges manually or with time-controlled operation and applied precisely to bonding surfaces, joints or connection points.
This allows 3D-printed components to be bonded cleanly and reproducibly, for example in prototypes, small production runs or custom-made components. The adjustable dispensing time and vacuum suck-back system support controlled material application and reduce unwanted dripping.
The material, dispensing volume, and component determine which dispensing technology is most suitable. We support you in selecting the right dispensing controllers, valves, cartridges, pressure vessels, or 2K systems.
