HUNTSMAN's Araldite 2052 is a two-component methacrylic ester-based adhesive with very good resistance to high temperatures and to chemicals. The adhesive provides excellent strength values on metals as well as on hard plastics, even without special pretreatment of the parts to be bonded. Normal rolling oil and drawing oil residues are relatively compatible with Araldite 2052. The adhesive has good thermal stability and good joint filling properties for joints with a width of at least 5mm.
