The ERGO 4207 from Kisling seals threaded pipe connections conical/cylindrical up to R 3", e.g. sprinkler systems and gas piping systems. Firmly tightened screw connections are immediately tight against pressures up to 5 bar. Curing also takes place at low temperatures (> 0°C). The medium-strength pipe thread seal is certified to DVGW (DIN EN 751-1) and to NSF ANSI 61 for use in service and drinking water up to +82°C. NSF S2 (P1) listed for use in food processing environments. Complies with the Federal Environment Agency's formulation recommendation of 11 February 2016 for use in contact with drinking water.
Can be used as an alternative to Loctite 5400, 577 or 5776.
